Vista green uses only the best nitrogen fertilizers (synthetic and organic blends) when fertilizing after aeration and only the best starter fertilizers when fertilizing after seeding. Starter fertilizers are used because they are slow release and made to be used in conjunction with the new seed. Nitrogen fertilizers start to green a yard after 48 hours and last 4-6 weeks. Starter fertilizer take a little longer to green a lawn because they are slower release but last 6-8 weeks. For best results, all fertilizers should be watered in the day they are applied.
